Penny Lover Bearded Iris

A penny for your thoughts about this gorgeous iris variety! Penny Lover is a must-have for fine bouquets and breathtaking back borders. On the market since 1988, its splendid flowers open atop 36" stalks from mid to late spring. These blooms are hued tan, brown and gold, with a yellow beard that bears a touch of lavender at the tip. Impressive when planted in large groups, or try intermingling it with gold, blue or white blooms for a stunning effect in the garden. Like other German irises, it's easy to grow and unappetizing to deer.
